Srikanth’s ‘Papa Kehte Hai’ song launch: Aamir Khan remembers the late Gulshan Kumar: “Bhushan Kumar ne sach mein papa ka naam roshan kiya hai”
On Monday, April 22, a lovely event took place in a Mumbai auditorium, and the remade version of the 1988 song "Papa Kehte Hai" by Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak was released. Along with Srikanth's team members—actors Rajkummar Rao, Alaya F, and Sharad Kelkar, director Tushar Hiranandani, producer Nidhi Parmar Hiranandani, and Srikanth Bolla, the film's based on—Aamir Khan, who appeared in the original version, and Udit Narayan, who sang both versions, graced their presence. The occasion started with capable outwardly disabled individuals performing on 'Daddy Kehte Hai' and furthermore the other popular tune of Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, 'Affirmative Simple Humsafar'.
Aamir Khan praised the Rajkummar Rao-starrer, saying, "When I saw Srikanth's trailer, I was left amazed." I immediately identified with Srikanth's character. I want to follow along on his journey. As a result, I also eagerly await its May 10 release. It appears to be a very motivating movie. Rajkummar Rao has done an excellent job. It is evident from the trailer that he has adapted to the character. He has played Srikanth to the fullest.
Nidhi Parmar Hiranandani continued, "This song will always be of Aamir sir and Udit sir." at this point. We are merely transmitting it to the following generation!
Aamir Khan also said, "Bhushan ne sach mein papa ka naam roshan kiya hai," referring to Gulshan Kumar, Bhushan Kumar's father and one of Srikanth's producers. After Gulshan ji's tragic death, he took over the business at a young age. As a child, he has truly taken the business forward and furthermore the music business forward. He has expanded it and provided numerous young musicians with numerous opportunities. That is truly astounding. Thus, we ought to applaud Bhushan also."
Rajkummar Rao said, "After passing Class 12, I used to study theatre." This is how his life has turned out. I once cycled 70 kilometers from Gurgaon to Delhi and back. I used to play some songs on my Walkman at this time. The one tune that used to hit me a great deal was 'Father Kehte Hai' (grins). To motivate myself, I used to listen to the song "Ki mujhe bhi bada naam karna hai." Additionally, it's surreal to see Srikanth singing that song about me.
"We have all taken a lot of inspiration from Aamir sir," he went on to say. He is here to launch the song because he is his badappan. He promotes high-quality content. Much obliged to you sir for showing us everything!"

Sukhwinder Singh REFUTES Ram Gopal Varma’s claims on ‘Jai Ho’ composition: “AR Rahman has composed the song, I have only sung it”
Earlier this week, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma caused confusion by claiming that the Oscar-winning song "Jai Ho" from Slumdog Millionaire was written by singer Sukhwinder Singh, not AR Rahman. Sukhwinder, on the other hand, has denied the claims made by the filmmaker and given Rahman credit for the song's music in an interview with Hindustan Times. He acknowledged that he had performed the iconic song, but credited Rahman as the composer.
The song was written by AR Rahman; I only sang it. According to him, "Ram Gopal Varma ji koi chhoti hasti toh nahin hain, shayad unhe kuchh galat pata chala hoga." He made it clear that there was no deliberate dissemination of false information to Varma. Sukhwinder Singh gave more details about how the song was made. He revealed that the song was written by lyricist Gulzar. AR Rahman liked the song, so he wrote it in Sukhwinder's studio.
For Subhash Ghai's Yuvvraaj, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, Rahman even gave the song to him. But Ghai thought the song didn't go with his idea.
For the uninitiated, in an interview with Film Companion, RGV recalled meeting Ghai when he became enraged at Rahman for not having written the song. According to RGV, the director even slammed the composer, saying, "I am paying you crores of rupees as my music director and you are making Sukhwinder make a tune for me." The filmmaker then swore at the composer. That's brave of you to say in front of me. I'll sign Sukhwinder if I want him. Who are you to demand that Sukhwinder compose music for me and take my money?
AR Rahman has yet to comment on the situation.
